New Zealand School of Tourism is the country's largest private tertiary establishment that specialises in training programmes for the airline, travel and tourism industries.The New Zealand School of Tourism Ltd (trading as New Zealand School of Tourism) started as Travel Careers & Training in 1985 with one campus in Wellington. Several years later they opened a second campus in Auckland before purchasing Sir George Seymour College in 2006. This gave the company seven campuses and it has since grown to eight campuses throughout New Zealand.

In 2015 the two brands rebranded to become The New Zealand School of Tourism.They are a Category One provider having gained the highest outcome from NZQA with a Highly Confident in Educational Performance and Highly Confident in Self Assessment.

All courses are New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approved and students are eligible to apply for Government Student Loans and Allowances.

We also have a  specialised Level 4 International Flight Attendant Certificate and our Auckland Airport Campus has the country’s best flight attendant training facility ensuring you can learn in a real flight environment with a 747 cabin trainer and a full Boeing 737 aircraft, an A320 cabin trainer, air evacuation slides, life rafts and an airline firefighting simulator.

It is there flagship campus with classrooms, computer labs, a Boeing 747 service trainer, a full Boeing 737 aircraft cabin trainer, an A320 cabin trainer, air evacuation slides, life raft and an airline fire fighting simulator. Located on Auckland airport land it is a two minute walk from Countdown supermarket, cafes and shops. On the bus route from the city and Manukau means you can reach the campus easily.

Auckland City campus is a sight to behold. Designed by Ellery Muir the new campus has a different theme on each of the 4 levels - Stylish corporate, Aviation, Pasifika and fabulous New York. Facilities include class rooms, computer labs, free wifi, 2 student lunch rooms including microwave, free tea/coffee, water cooler, lifts, disabled facilities as well as an airline cabin trainer / aircraft seats and flight attending equipment. There are numerous travel options for students attending Auckland Queen St Campus. Students who live some distance from the campus have different public transport options to choose from, including: Buses, Trains & ferries. The campus is easily accessible from all parts of Auckland. This campus hosts Walt Disneyworld when they come to Auckland to interview students and other employers such as ACCOR hotel group when they are wanting to recruit staff. This state of the art campus will make you feel like you have already started your career and students will have an opportunity to work at the Koru Lounge at Auckland airport while they are with us.
