ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING

Accounting and Auditing is a full-time multidisciplinary programme that offers students on the study of economic and financial analyses. Students will acquire a combination of technical and theoretical knowledge, including the basic skills they need to enter the careers in auditing sphere. Statistics, economics, finance and mathematics are also covered, since they are essential to the understanding of accounting. Besides, students become proficient in modern methods of the electronic analysis of statistical information which will enable them to apply this knowledge in practice. The objective of financial statements is to provide information about the financial position, performance and change in financial position of an enterprise that is useful to a wide range of users in making decisions. The program paying attention to the practical skills in accounting and audit, increases the quality of training by paying considerable attention to the improvement of educational and methodological work.

Students must undergo a pre-graduation internship and defend a graduation thesis in order to receive a degree.

Upon the successful completion of the programme, graduates can pursue their career in local and international financial institutions and companies, banks, insurance companies and accounting firms.
