PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

Public Administration is introduces students an opportunity to gain a better understanding of organizations and operations in the public sector, as well as specialized knowledge and skills necessary for career development. It is designed for managers, administrative officers, front-line service providers, policy analysts and those preparing for employment and advancement in government or municipality; social service agencies and other public or non-profit organizations. Students will be equipped with deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills in political science, economics and management areas. This course introduces students to the concepts and ideas of public administration, public policy and public management.

The course will focus on critical examination of the evolvement of management philosophies through the time and assess the impact of managerial reforms by using comparative case study approach. In the program students will learn about public organizations more performance and customer oriented and how they are prepared to meet demands of citizens and other stakeholders with different and competing interests in a context of fragmented authority.

Upon the successful completion of the programme, graduates can pursue their career in governmental organizations, Embassies, Ministries and NGOs, law, business and international organizations.
