TOURISM AND HOTEL MANAGEMENT

Tourism and Hotel Management is modern education program that introduces students to the managerial analysis and the sphere of hotel management. Students will acquire a combination of technical and theoretical knowledge, including the basic skills they need to enter the careers in tourism sphere. Marketing, economics, Human Resource management are also covered, since they are essential to the understanding of hotel management. The students will gain an in-depth understanding of the tourism sector, underscored by sustainability principles. They will develop core business skills in areas such as leadership, management, marketing and strategic management, and enhance these with an understanding of how to manage employment relations in a culturally diverse context.

The program is aims to prepare intellectually developed experts and occupational work force that will answer the long term needs of the world tourism sector and its relevant fields. As well as meeting the sectorial needs and preparing them for the professional life, our programs motivate students in becoming creative and innovative individuals. It is a modern education program has been prepared to educate students as individuals, who are sensitive to technological developments, international and local tendencies, and natural, socio-cultural, and economical resources. Graduates become the sector’s most valuable human resource with their accumulated knowledge and experience from the Course equipping them with systematic and academic management skills.

Students must undergo a pre-graduation internship and defend a graduation thesis in order to receive a degree.

Upon the successful completion of the programme, graduates can pursue their career in tourism sector, in hotel management, in travel agencies and etc.
