Te P?kenga brings the Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs) and the arranging training activities of certain Industry Training Organisations (ITOs) together to create a national network. This will give learners more choices and flexibility in what, where, and how they learn.
Existing Toi Ohomai ?konga (learners) will be enrolled with Te P?kenga automatically in the same qualification and will continue to learn in the same way, in the same place, with the same people.
Learners should note that all programmes offered across Te P?kenga are under review to ensure they are portable, consistent and aligned with the needs of industry and may be changed. Where there are changes to programmes that you have applied to enrol in, you will be notified of these changes.

Campus Information
Logistics Training Centre
Our Logistics Training Centre is a fully functioning warehouse located in Mount Maunganui. Established with the full support of industry, its the only training facility of its kind in the country. The warehouse provides a real, hands-on learning environment where our Road Transport students pick up and deliver loads to the warehouse, our Warehousing and Distribution students unload and store goods and, to complete the cycle, consignments are released from the warehouse and delivered back to the clients.
Mokoia Campus
Situated on 20 hectares on the southern end of the city limits, Mokoia Campus students are surrounded by beautiful forests and a scenic reserve, with views to mountains and geysers. Mokoia is always evolving and new buildings include a recreation centre and a centrally located amphitheatre near our marae. The amphitheatre is a popular spot for on-campus entertainment when the sun is shining. Our newest teaching facility is the $10.2 million Health and Sciences Centre which was purpose-built for the nursing, health care and sport sciences. It features classrooms, laboratories, and lecture and performance halls.
Taupo Campus
Our Taupo campus is only three minutes from the town centre, and surrounded by the areas natural geothermal phenomena, national parks, New Zealand’s largest lake and ski area's.
Tokoroa Campus
Located midway between Taupo and Hamilton, our campus in Tokoroa is perfectly situated in the middle of town. This is an ideal location for students interested in New Zealand’s farming, forestry, timber, or paper industries.
Waipa Campus
Waipa Campus – TITC (Timber Industry Training Centre) is the only dedicated training facility in the country to operate a working sawmill and wood manufacturing plant. It’s a five minute drive from Mokoia Campus. Waipa Campus is well known in the forestry and timber industries, having provided training in wood processing and sawmilling for many years.
Whakatane Campus
Our Whakatane campus is located in New Zealand’s Sunshine Capital, only a few of kilometres from some of our country’s best beaches. Students studying at the Whakatane campus will find the region a great place to get involved in the forestry, horticulture, fishing, and tourism industries.
Windermere Campus
Tauranga's main campus is located on the southern side of the city, set on 24 hectares of trees and gardens. Windermere Campus, or ‘Windy’ as it’s affectionately known, features modern lecture theatres, state-of-the-art trades workshops built to emulate industry, purpose-built laboratories, fashion studios, a restaurant, three cafes, a beauty salon, music recording studio and radio station, as well as Te Pare a Ruahine, our fantastic heated pool and gym.
