PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCE WITH BUSINESS - BSC (HONS)

This course covers the main aspects of pharmaceutical discovery and development, including product formulation, manufacture and quality assurance, and explains how such pure and applied sciences fit into the global pharmaceutical business, legal and regulatory frameworks. This includes elements of clinical development and the role of the pharmaceutical scientist within the industry team that take a drug from research to the clinic.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
A LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
- BCC
- To include Biology or Chemistry at grade B or above.
- Subjects not included: Dual award Applied Science, Critical Thinking, General Studies, Maths and Further Maths in combination. Media Studies only accepted with both Chemistry and Biology.
If you don't think you'll meet the entry requirements specified, you may be able to gain entry to this course via a Foundation Year.
GCSE REQUIREMENTS
- Mathematics at C (or 4) and
- English Language/Literature at C (or 4)
BTEC
- DMM in Applied Science (all routes - Applied, Biomedical, Analytical & Forensic, Physical Science).
- You must have taken certain Science units. Please contact Admissions for advice.
INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE
- 28 points to include Higher Level Chemistry or Biology at 6 or above
ACCESS TO HE DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS
- Obtain Access to Higher Education Diploma with 104 UCAS Tariff points including a minimum of 15 Level 3 credits at Distinction. 30 Level 3 credits are required in Biology and/or Chemistry. Please contact Admissions for advice

All other State Boards Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard Class XII: 65% - 95% required depending on course. Plus any subject-specific requirements.

English Requirements
CISCE/CBSE Class XII: 70% or above in English, depending on course.
All other State Boards Class XII (except Punjab or Mohali School Education Board): 75% or above in English, depending on course.
Must have been completed within the last 5 years.
