FORENSIC SCIENCE AND NEUROSCIENCE - BSC (HONS)
Studying Neuroscience, you’ll explore a range of topics which may include how we learn and remember, how the brain controls the body, and how the brain can be targeted by disease but in some instances can repair itself. Working in diverse ways, including our well-equipped labs, you’ll develop your independent research skills as you learn to acquire, interpret and analyse data from multiple sources. You’ll also understand how neuroscience can help us understand medical problems and improve the quality of life.

Our graduates have entered careers in a range of professional forensic science sectors, including DNA profiling to digital forensics, or as analytical scientists and researchers within the broader business sector, such as chemical analytical consultancies, pharmaceuticals or environmental monitoring.
Some of our graduates also undertake postgraduate qualifications such as an MSc, PGCE or PhD qualification prior to entering employment.

- A level Chemistry or Biology at grade B or above.

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE
- 32 points to include a Higher Level Chemistry or Biology at 6 or above.
ACCESS TO HE DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS
- Obtain Access to Higher Education Diploma with 122 UCAS Tariff points including a minimum of 30 Level 3 credits at Distinction in Chemistry and/or Biology related units.
India
CISCE / CBSE / West Bengal Class XII: 60% - 90% required depending on course. Plus any subject-specific requirements.
All other State Boards Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard Class XII: 65% - 95% required depending on course. Plus any subject-specific requirements.
2 years of study must have been completed.
English Requirements
CISCE/CBSE Class XII: 70% or above in English, depending on course.
All other State Boards Class XII (except Punjab or Mohali School Education Board): 75% or above in English, depending on course.
Must have been completed within the last 5 years.
