BACHELOR OF MUSIC WITH A MAJOR IN MUSIC EDUCATION

If you want to be a music teacher, Ashland University’s Music Education program is a great place to start.

This program combines courses in music with courses from our College of Education, which is nationally recognized as one of the best programs in the state. You’ll get classroom experience while training in instrumental, vocal, and general music for a holistic education.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate: 2.5 GPA, 18 ACT or 960 SAT
Nursing Undergraduate: 3.0 GPA, 20 ACT or 1030 SAT

Our incoming undergraduate students obtain, on average, a 3.4 GPA and a 23 ACT score.

If you don't think you meet both automatic admission requirements, you should still apply as you may meet alternative criteria for admission.
