The Religion program at Ashland University is for students who want to enrich their lives and the lives of others, with a broad approach to the study of faith traditions alongside their historical and cultural contexts. As a student of religion, you will explore many aspects of Christian thought, history, beliefs and practices, as well as those of world religions. You will also examine how religious ideas and values shape our world.

This will be an intellectual journey - one that deepens and broadens your understanding of your own faith and increases your appreciation of other cultures and theologies. The program is sensitive to issues of faith development and focuses on spiritual and moral formation.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate: 2.5 GPA, 18 ACT or 960 SAT
Nursing Undergraduate: 3.0 GPA, 20 ACT or 1030 SAT

Our incoming undergraduate students obtain, on average, a 3.4 GPA and a 23 ACT score.
