Including core studies in advanced water resources management, principles of ecology for environmental scientists, and the sources and uses of energy and alternatives, the Graduate Certificate in Environmental Science provides you with the ability to solve environmental problems that require the integration of knowledge from diverse disciplines.

By the end of the half-year course, graduates will possess a practical and theoretical background in some of the basic aspects of environmental science. You can choose to build on this by continuing on to the graduate diploma, or even higher to the master's course.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

For admission into this course, you should have:

 a Bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent. 
As part of the embedded program, upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Environmental Science, students may gain entry to the Graduate Diploma in Environmental Science through an internal "upgrade".

The academic requirements that are displayed are applicable to currently available courses only, and are updated annually in October and may be changed without notice. TOEFL - IBT score - A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing

IELTS score - A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band

TOEFL - PBT score - A minimum result of 565 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing

Pearsons Test of English - A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
