You can also study a language with this course. You can be awarded the degree ‘with language’ in the title if you choose to study a foreign language in all years of study.

Study abroad

At Hertfordshire, our BA Business Administration is taught by a respected academic team with extensive international experience, and their insights into global business practices impact every part of the course. You’ll have the opportunity to add an even deeper international dimension to your BA by choosing optional language modules or studying abroad between your Second and Final Years in Europe, North America or Asia.

Work placement

Practical experience can really make your CV stand out to potential employers and our BA Business Administration gives you the option of adding a year-long work placement to your degree. You can either spend 12 months working for your placement company, or six months working and six months studying abroad at one of our partner universities. While you’re working, you’ll be paid by your employer.

Campus Information

College Lane Campus

The main site of the university remains the College Lane campus, which houses the original Hatfield Technical College building. Notable among the buildings in this campus is the university's Learning Resource Centre, a combined library and computer centre. There is also a substantial collection of halls of residence and student houses, and the University of Hertfordshire Students' Union is headquartered at College Lane campus. The College Lane campus is also the location of Hertfordshire International College, which is part of the Navitas group, providing a direct pathway for international students to the University.

  • Completion of the Standard XII Certificate with 60-70% depending on points tariff required by the UH course. Some courses may require specific subjects

  • Standard XII English with 65% will also be accepted

Undergraduate (year 2/3)

  • Depending on qualifications and course - usually require 2/3 year Diploma post-Standard XII to be considered
