BA (Hons) Business and Human Resources
We’ve combined this dynamic discipline with core business studies, creating a dual-focus degree that opens all sorts of high-level career opportunities. This course gives you an in-depth understanding of today’s businesses and the HR world. Students can explore organizational psychology, learn about employment law and key areas of HR including employee relations, human resource development, and performance management and reward.
Study abroad
This course offers you the opportunity to study abroad through the University's study abroad program. Study abroad opportunities are available worldwide and in Europe under the Erasmus+ Programme.
Work placement
As with all our courses students have the opportunity to complete a sandwich placement, which will usually last for one year. During this time you will be employed by the company and will subsequently be paid; for students on placement, salaries have ranged from £11,500 - £14000. In past years students have completed placements with:

Campus Information
College Lane Campus
The main site of the university remains the College Lane campus, which houses the original Hatfield Technical College building. Notable among the buildings in this campus is the university's Learning Resource Centre, a combined library and computer centre. There is also a substantial collection of halls of residence and student houses, and the University of Hertfordshire Students' Union is headquartered at College Lane campus. The College Lane campus is also the location of Hertfordshire International College, which is part of the Navitas group, providing a direct pathway for international students to the University.

Job Opportunity Potential
