Master of Laws
The Master of Laws degree offers a choice of over 40 topics for either general study or specialised research. It is a very flexible programme, offering participants the ability to study by thesis alone, or by combining short research paper courses and a dissertation.
LLM students develop in-depth expertise in particular fields of legal specialisation, broaden their knowledge in a range of legal subjects, and combine law study with related disciplines. Students get the chance to undertake research under the supervision of expert staff in the School of Law | Te Kure Ture.

PSW Opportunity
- During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
- After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
- After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.
