Master of Social Work (Applied)
The Master of Social Work (Applied) offers the opportunity for students with an approved social science degree to complete a recognised professional qualification over two years.
The programme is able to be completed on a part-time basis, which offers some flexibility to those with family or employment commitments.
UC also offers the Master of Social Work involving thesis work.

PSW Opportunity
- During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
- After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
- After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.

Academic entry requirements
Students must have completed any bachelor’s degree with a B Grade Point Average in their 300-level courses, and have completed either courses in social research and human development, or have relevant practice experience or another qualifying programme.
