Master of Public Health
Faculty of Public Health Airlangga University was officially established after a decree issued by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 0372 / O / 1993 jo. No. 70 539 / A6.1 / U / 1993 on the opening of the School of Public Health and the Psychology Faculty of Airlangga University. On September 9, 1995 the 3-stories building of School of Public Health (FKM) was inaugurated by Airlangga University Rector Prof. dr. H. Bambang Rahino Setokoesoemo; the 11,695,551 m 2 building is situated on a land of 18.94793 m 2 in Campus C Mulyorejo Surabaya (it previously occupied the Basic Natural Science [BNS] building in the Medical Faculty Airlangga University Campus A Jl. Major General Prof. Dr. Moestopo). The first dean was Prof. Dr. Rika Subarniati Triyoga, S.KM., dr. Currently FKM has 7 Prodi (study program): Prodi D3 (3-year) Company Hygiene and Occupational Safety, Prodi S1 (Bachelor/4-year) Public Health (IKM), Prodi S2 (Master) Public Health (IKM), Prodi S2 (Master) Administration Health Policy (AKK), Prodi S2 (Master) Occupational Health and Safety (K3) , Prodi S2 (Master) Environmental Health (KL) and S3 (PhD) Prodi Health Sciences. The number of teaching staff and academic staff are 79 and 74 people respectively. The S3 Prodi Health Sciences is under the management of FKM based on Airlangga University Rector Decree number 1947 / H.3 / KK / 2011 regarding the Scope of Study Program in the category of Monodiscipline, Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary management of Master and Doctoral programs starting from the second semester of the 2011 academic year or from February 24, 2012.Faculty of Public Health Airlangga University strives for becoming a leading and internationally-reputable Public Health Faculty, and generating graduates who have proactive, professional and entrepreneurial spirit in solving Public Health problems at local, national and international scale, which based on technological developments and religious values.
