MSc Clinical Exercise Physiology

With a focus on the epidemiology and pathology of chronic diseases, this full-time course will develop your understanding of the physiological and psychological factors associated with disease, and the role of exercise as a medicine in the prevention, treatment and management of conditions.

As a master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, you will put your skills into practice by working in clinics and getting to grips with patient interaction from the start. Our physiology lab, teaching lab and biomechanics lab will equip you with a full range of skills in physiology, in high demand by employers. The clinics will teach you how to work with patients and make a diagnosis, as well as know which kind of exercise is geared towards which patient demographic.

On completion of this course you will possess the necessary knowledge and skills to assess an individual’s physical status and quality of life to provide a bespoke solution to enhance their daily living.
