Leicester De Montfort Law School provides a unique program for final year students who wish to pursue research or academic career to work as paid researchers supporting major research projects and to develop their own research expertise.

All years have the opportunity to hone their legal skills by engaging with our Legal Advice Centre, which provides advice to businesses, organizations, and individuals, with the opportunity to claim Qualifying Work Experience to speed your way to qualification as a Solicitor.

In addition, our award-winning Street Law project enables you to engage in campaigning and education in the promotion of legal rights for individuals and communities.

2 Years PSW is applicable after the course.(Bachelors & Masters only)

Entry criteria

• A typical offer is 120 UCAS points. You need to study at least two subjects at A-Level, or
• BTEC National Diploma/Extended Diploma at DMM

Plus five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics or equivalent

Alternative qualifications include:

• Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit (or equivalent) English (Language or Literature) and Maths GCSE required as separate qualifications at grade 4

We will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course

• International Baccalaureate: 28+ points

India

• Minimum of 65% average in your four best subjects (excluding Hindi) in Standard 12. We may also check your standard 10 results in English and Maths.
• For Engineering courses, you will need a minimum of 60% in Maths. 

2nd year - 3rd-year Undergraduate:

• Entry to year 2 or 3 may be possible. You will need to supply detailed information including courses taken, grades achieved, syllabus, and a grading guide.

Sri Lanka

• 55-65% in three A-levels, depending on the course you choose.

2nd year - 3rd-year Undergraduate:

Entry to year 2 or 3 may be possible. You will need to supply detailed information including courses taken, grades achieved, syllabus, and a grading guide.

Bangladesh

• A-levels or a recognized Foundation Course
• GPA 5.0 out of 5.0 including 4.0 in English and Maths
