Certificate III in Individual Support [Ageing, Home and Community]
If you are interested in giving back to the community and want to work in the aged care and home and community are industries then CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support is a great starting point. This course will teach you the skills to care for people who may be living in the community and/or residential care facilities who may require help due to an ageing, disability or some other reason.
In this industry, you may also need to follow an individualised plan to support people in their homes, to support people with complex needs and to tailor care and support for clients with increased individual needs. This course combines both theory and practical training and has a compulsory, supervised work placement where you can use all the skills and knowledge gained throughout your studies.
