Progress your career in the community services sector by completing CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services. This course will teach you the problem-solving skills needed to work with people from diverse backgrounds, so that you can make a difference in their circumstances.
You will be qualified to work within a community services framework and help plan and conduct group activities for clients, whilst implementing health promotion programs. You will also gain a range of practical skills and knowledge that will assist you to respond and intervene when critical situations arise, such as children at risk, mental health, and domestic violence.
Being able to communicate and work effectively with these clients is the most important skill to possess, as you need to be able to support the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of individuals and advocate person-centered services to individuals and/or groups.
