If you are passionate about improving the service delivery to aged care clients and are looking to boost your career, then CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support is the course for you.
It continues to build the skills you obtained in the Certificate III by giving you a more informed and confident manner so that you can provide excellent care to your clients. You will gain the skills to assess the needs of older people with complex circumstances, and plan and conduct group and recreation programs for older people. Your understanding of health issues that affect older clients will be enhanced, which will enable you to deal with a variety of complex health issues faced by the elderly such as falls prevention and dementia.
These skills will ensure that you can provide a high level of client care, taking into consideration legal and ethical issues and guidelines as well as how to monitor services, implement safety policies and procedures and organise an effective work environment.
This course includes a compulsory, supervised work placement, where you will be able to apply the learning you have gained in the classroom.
