You will gain hands-on experience at conducting tests both in the field and at site laboratories as well as learn how to prepare samples for laboratory submission. These skills are valuable in this industry as you may be required to assist environmental scientists, engineers, planners, and community groups to manage and conserve natural systems and resources, minimize pollution, remediate/rehabilitate sites, and trial practical strategies to protect and improve ecosystems.
