Advanced Diploma of Process Plant Technology
Elevate your career in process plant engineering and manufacturing, by studying the Advanced Diploma of Process Plant Technology. This course extends the expertise gained at the Diploma level and will further enhance your career prospects. During your studies, you will learn about how to analyse plant performance, equipment and product failures, solve complex problems and manage risk and safety. You will also improve your ability to communicate with various stakeholders and manage processing teams.
This course will broaden your existing skills and knowledge so that you can assist in the development of new products and contribute to plant modifications. South Metropolitan TAFE delivers this course at the Australian Centre for Energy and Process Training (ACEPT) Centre which is located at the Munster campus. This is a world-class, specialist training facility featuring a fully operational oil and gas facility and process plant. You will experience hands-on, practical training in a real-life industry setting. When you complete this course, you may be eligible for Associate Membership to Engineers Australia. You may also be eligible for advanced standing into relevant courses at the University level.
