PhD in Food Sciences & Technology (Integrated)
Begin a high-level research career with a PhD in Food Sciences and Technology. Our integrated program allows graduates without a research background to undertake a PhD.
Integrated PhD in Food Sciences & Technology program
The integrated PhD in Food Sciences and Technology offers graduates an alternative path to a doctoral degree. During your first year, you’ll receive intensive research training. On passing the components with a 70% average, you’ll begin an original PhD thesis, graduating within the standard timeframe.
Our expert supervisors will continue to support your study in our research focus areas. Your scientific research in advanced food systems will focus on improving sustainability of food production through innovation in industrialised and developing nations.
We offer food science and technology related research opportunities in collaboration with government, industry, not-for-profit organisations and other universities in Australia and overseas.
You’ll learn to present your research findings clearly and effectively in a thesis, and through public presentations and publications.
