LEVEL 3 FOUNDATION DIPLOMA EQUINE MANAGEMENT (EQUITATION)
This course gives you the opportunity to gain detailed academic knowledge and an in-depth understanding of horse management and equitation through theory-based and practical sessions.
You will be involved in the daily care of the horses through yard duties, including weekends which will develop the practical skills necessary to gain employment within the equine industry. You are also required to complete a period of work experience at an external placement during the course. You will also have the opportunity to assist in the running of our commercial equine competitions. It is therefore compulsory students to live in Hartpury accommodation for the duration of the course. Successful completion of this programme will allow you to progress onto Higher Education.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Indian Certificate of Secondary Education is considered comparable to GCSE (grades A*-C / 9-4), for every subject passed, where grades of 1-6 (40-100%) have been obtained.
Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 is considered comparable to the overall AS Level standard.
Diploma (from a State Board of Technical Education) is considered comparable to BTEC Level 3 Diploma, when studied for three years.
