MSc Midwifery (Pre-Registration)
The midwifery programme has been designed to incorporate the six domains specified in the Nursing and Midwifery Council Standards for Pre-registration Midwifery Education (2019).
Modules within the curriculum have utilised the University curriculum design framework to provide relevant and coherent learning
opportunities to deliver a high-quality student experience and support your progression and success. Modules are designed to become
progressively challenging at each level using learning and achievement from earlier levels as a foundation. Continuity of care and carer are linked to improved health outcomes for mother and baby, as well as greater satisfaction with care and these are key elements embedded within the programme.
