Master of Creative Industries
Explore the social, cultural and technical collision of new technologies and the impact of this on audiences and creators. This degree gives you the skills, knowledge and experience you need to take your ideas from the page to the marketplace, and advance your career.
Ideas are powerful. They can change lives, the way we live and the very world we live in. But without the skills to pitch, develop and share your concepts, your contribution will be an opportunity lost. Our Master of Creative Industries is a two-year program that helps you identify, refine, enhance and grow your own intellectual property. Learn how to best participate and survive in the contemporary media landscape with its breakdown of traditional media silos and the transformation of media production and consumption practices. Become a specialist in your field, and learn how to understand and connect with your audiences across broadcast, online, mobile and other channels, and to integrate new platforms and social media into the mix.
You’ll also gain complementary cross-discipline skills in the areas of management and entrepreneurship to better leverage your ideas. Taught by staff with extensive industry experience, this course has a strong focus on creative ideation, audience experience, and user-centred design. It explores the social, cultural and technical collision of new technologies and the impact of this on audiences and creators. Gives you the knowledge and experience needed to take your ideas from the page to the marketplace, and advance your career.
