PSW Opportunity
- The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
- Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
- They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- 2 GCE A-Level passes in Mathematics and English, IB Diploma, or other equivalent pre-university certifications; OR
- Completion of GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Civil Engineering), GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Building Surveying - Facilities), GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Mechanical Engineering), GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Marine Engineering) or GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Chemical Process Engineering), or GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Electrical & Electronic Engineering); OR
- Polytechnic Diploma in Construction and Built Environment Industry; OR
- Other PEI qualifications (e.g. BCA Diploma that is equivalent to GSTM’s Specialist Diploma; OR
- Matured student: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experience will be considered.
English Language Requirement:
- A pass in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or IELTS 5.0 and or equivalent; OR
- Completed a prior Diploma or equivalent where the medium of instruction is English
