ECONOMICS - BSC (HONS)
You will study the economic behaviour of households, businesses and governments and examine the functioning of markets and the effects of fiscal and monetary policies. The course will help you to understand a range of current issues including austerity and recession, growth and currency fluctuations and why markets may fail to operate efficiently. You will graduate with a range of skills and capabilities, both subject-related and more general, lifelong skills, such as analytical ability, critical thinking and advanced quantitative skills.
You may also have the opportunity to take a placement year between years two and three of your studies, so you can apply theories and concepts to real world organisations.
