What to Expect in the Digital Media Production Program
In this program, you’ll learn a variety of filming, producing, and editing skills in order to tell stories to today’s digital audiences. You’ll access a range of laboratory experiences to practice your skills first hand, including:
- Campus radio station, WRDL, 88.9 FM, broadcasting daily student-produced programming to the surrounding Ashland community
- AUTV, Ashland’s award-winning, student-run television station
- Video production facility
- Multimedia laboratory
This program also provides you with an understanding of the power and influence of media and the social and ethical responsibility it puts on content creators like you.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate: 2.5 GPA, 18 ACT or 960 SAT
Nursing Undergraduate: 3.0 GPA, 20 ACT or 1030 SAT
Our incoming undergraduate students obtain, on average, a 3.4 GPA and a 23 ACT score.
If you don't think you meet both automatic admission requirements, you should still apply as you may meet alternative criteria for admission.
