Associate of Science in Audio Production

In-person instruction is temporarily on hold due to COVID-19 safety guidelines. All new students will begin classes remotely through our Learning Management System (LMS), Zoom and other video communication and web collaboration platforms. We have adjusted our courses so you will begin with your theory-based classes first and then move into more hands-on production courses once we are allowed to return to campus. This means you can start your degree program now without worrying about missing out on our equipment, production stages, editing labs and recording studios. Thank you for helping us stay safe!

Sound is everywhere. Explore the many facets of audio through live concerts, post-production sound and other interactive digital media. Get ready to dive into the audio production world and start learning mixing techniques, Avid Pro Tools, live-sound production and more. Throughout the program, you’ll train on our analog and digital consoles in professional recording studios.

Our Audio Program offers both Associate and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Audio Production. Both degree programs will help amplify your audio skills so you can start making waves in the audio production industry. What are you waiting for?

A growing number of employers are looking for a more versatile audio professional that is proficient as both an audio engineer and content producer. Our associate degree gives you the chance to explore the essential functions of audio production in an accelerated, 18-month course structure.

Earn your associate degree with technical-based training in Avid Pro Tools and work on large-format consoles. This hands-on program is great if you want to sharpen your technical skills quickly and gain a broader understanding of audio engineering.

Our Associate of Science in Audio Production Degree is 60 credit hours and 18 months in length.
Each class is studied exclusively during a four-week period allowing students to focus on one particular subject at a time.
