Master of Audiological Sciences

The Master of Audiological Sciences will provide students with:

  • The foundations of audiological practice through lectures, tutorial and practical classes supplemented by simulation exercises (computer and tutorial) and workplace observational opportunities
  • Solid research knowledge and skills including determining research needs, ethical research processes, research planning, budgeting, data collection, analysis and professional scientific writing. All students will complete an audiological research project related to an area of their interest
  • A non-clinical pathway to hearing device and communications industries
  • A pathway to the Master of Clinical Audiology course for those interested in a career as a clinical audiologist
  • For international students, the opportunity to receive internationally recognised training to support audiological related prevention and management in their home countries

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—
(a) a bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification as recognised by UWA: and
(b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 65 percent, from the most recent degree of at least one year full-time duration.
