Master of International Law
An acknowledged leader in international law, Sydney Law School offers a unique program allowing combination of core areas with a variety of specialisations.
Our international law program prepares you for professional work and academic research in the fields of public international law and international policy by equipping you with skills and knowledge to negotiate the legal and policy issues affecting relations between states; between states and international organisations; and between states and individuals.
The Master of International Law also offers you the opportunity to complete an optional International Law Research Project, worth the equivalent of two units of study.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Available places will be offered to qualified applicants based on merit, according to the following admissions criteria. Admission to candidature for the Master of International Law requires: a) a bachelor's degree with a minimum credit average from the University of Sydney, or an equivalent qualification; or b) a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney, or an equivalent qualification; and the applicant provides evidence of two years of relevant professional experience.
TOEFL - IBT score - A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 25 in Writing
IELTS score - A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band
TOEFL - PBT score - A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English - A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
