The University of Sydney has an international reputation for excellence. Many of our Master of Teaching students are offered full-time employment before completing their degrees.

Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.

• Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
• Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
• Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
• The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants

Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:

• Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
• Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
• Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
• PhD students can stay upto 4 years

Available places will be offered to qualified applicants based on merit. Admission to candidature requires:
a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; and
completion of the curriculum area specialisation requirements specified by the Faculty; and
completion of any additional qualifying courses prescribed by the Faculty.
English language requirements must be met where these are not demonstrated by sufficient qualifications taught in English. In exceptional circumstances the Dean may admit applicants without these qualifications who in the opinion of the faculty have qualifications and evidence of experience and achievement sufficient to successfully undertake the award.

TOEFL - IBT score -  A minimum result of 105 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading and 25 in Writing and 27 in Listening and Speaking

IELTS score -  A minimum result of 7.5 overall including a minimum result of 7.0 in Reading and Writing and 8.0 in Listening and Speaking

TOEFL - PBT score -  A minimum result of 615 overall including a minimum result of 5.0 in Writing

Pearsons Test of English -  A minimum result of 76 overall including a minimum result of 68 in Reading and Writing and 79 in Listening and Speaking
