Graduate Diploma in Art Curating
The Graduate Diploma in Art Curating will provide you with a rich combination of core academic skills, historical knowledge, critical insight and community-engaged experience, creating pathways to careers and professional development in art institutions of all types.
You will explore and analyse traditional institutions such as museums and galleries, as well as the expanding field of contemporary curating and its wide range of non-traditional exhibition spaces, including artist-run and community art spaces, public art projects, festivals and commercial spaces.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Admission to candidature for the Graduate Diploma in Art Curating requires:
a bachelor's degree with a major in Anthropology, Archaeology, Art History, Cultural Geography, Cultural Studies, Education, English, Gender Studies, History, Indigenous Studies or related field and a minimum 60% average calculated over the whole degree, from the University of Sydney, or an equivalent qualification; or
completion of the Graduate Certificate in Art Curating with a minimum credit (65%) average, or an equivalent qualification.
You can progress from the Graduate Certificate to a Graduate Diploma or Masters, or from a Graduate Diploma to Masters in the same subject area, after successful completion of the shorter course.
TOEFL - IBT score - A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 25 in Writing
IELTS score - A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band
TOEFL - PBT score - A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English - A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
