BA (Hons) 3D Computer Animation and Modelling
This is an award-winning and world-renowned course taught to the highest level by industry professionals. If you want to be a 3D animator, model creatures in the latest sci-fi film, are interested in the more technical side of CG, or perhaps want to design characters and concept art, then this course is for you. It allows you to either specialize in the above or be a generalist.
We have great resources with cutting-edge software and hardware that is constantly updated, motion capture studios, and much more, in an award-winning building. Eventually, you’ll create a final animation or visualization and an eye-catching showreel to impress potential employers. College Lane Campus
The main site of the university remains the College Lane campus, which houses the original Hatfield Technical College building. Notable among the buildings in this campus is the university's Learning Resource Centre, a combined library and computer centre. There is also a substantial collection of halls of residence and student houses, and the University of Hertfordshire Students' Union is headquartered at College Lane campus. The College Lane campus is also the location of Hertfordshire International College, which is part of the Navitas group, providing a direct pathway for international students to the University.

- BCC - Requires Maths A level. Other A Levels may come from a selection of either Engineering or Technology, Science, Design, Computing, or Business related subjects. General studies/critical thinking not accepted.
BTEC
- DMM - Requires Extended Diploma in Engineering (DMM) to include Distinction in Further Maths
Undergraduate (year 1)
- Completion of the Standard XII Certificate with 60-70% depending on points tariff required by the UH course. Some courses may require specific subjects
- IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band for standard courses – some courses require higher
- Standard XII English with 65% will also be accepted
