Diploma of Arts
A Diploma of Arts prepares students for a broad range of further study in arts, communication or social science, by exploring a broad range of disciplines including linguistics, cultures, criminality and creativity. Graduates will be qualified to gain entry level positions in a range of fields using the practical team work and communication skills which they have acquired whilst studying at SIBT. Students who successfully complete the diploma will be eligible to enter second year of a bachelor’s degree at university.
The course can be completed over two or three sessions. It comprises of core (mandatory) and elective units. Students will study 8 units in total from the list below, 5 core units and 3 elective units.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
For India
Indian Higher Secondary School Certificate (State Boards)
- Higher Secondary Certificate (Year 12) with an average 55% or above in 4 subjects.
All India School Certificate (CBSE)
- Successful completion of AISCE (CBSE) with an overall GPA of 50% in best 4 subjects.
Indian School Certificate (ISC)
- Successful completion of ISCE with an overall GPA of 50% in best 4 subjects
For Bangladesh
- Higher School Certificate (Year 12) with a GPA of 3.0 of above.
For Nepal
- Higher Secondary Certificate with an average of 50% in 4 subjects (not including native language) / HSC 1st Division.
For Pakistan
- Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Certificate with an average of 50% for 4 subjects.
For Sri Lanka
- GCE A Level with passes in 2 academic subjects.
