Foundation Program (Extended)
The Foundation Program has been developed to bridge the gap between high school and tertiary studies. While completing the Foundation Program, you will study units and practice skills required for academic success in the SIBT Diploma Program (equivalent to one year of University studies). Some of the Foundation units you select will depend on the Diploma you wish to study.
Extended program
Students studying the Foundation Extended Program from Session 1, 2020 will study four Extended core units, five Standard core units and three elective units from a selected stream.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
For India
Indian Higher Secondary School Certificate (State Boards)
- Higher Secondary Certificate (Year 11) with an average of 60% or above in 4 subjects.
All India School Certificate (CBSE)
- Higher Secondary Certificate (Year 11) with an average of 60% or above in 4 subjects.
Indian School Certificate (ISC)
- Higher Secondary Certificate (Year 11) with an average of 60% or above in 4 subjects
For Bangladesh
- Intermediate Certificate (Year 11) with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
For Nepal
- Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Year 11) Second Division with an average of 60% or above.
For Pakistan
- Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Certificate with an average of 50%.
For Sri Lanka
- GCE O Level with passes in 3 academic subjects.
