Bachelor of Nursing

Bring your dreams of becoming a Registered Nurse to life with an approach as person-centred and community-focused as you are. The new Torrens University Australia Bachelor of Nursing addresses the growing global demand for caring – and highly skilled – professionals across a variety of different, often complex, healthcare and community settings.

Through the excellence of our on-campus simulation hospital environment and 840 hours of clinical placements, we’ll develop your practical and clinical skills. We aim to ensure you can utilise the knowledge gained throughout the program when you graduate.

Our promise is to deliver quality education through contemporary and evidence-based methods. You’ll learn vital skills in assessment and clinical decision-making as well as how to put patients first. We’ll make sure you’re taken care of, too.

Being a student at Torrens University Australia means you will be part of Laureate, a leading international network. You’ll see exactly how we embody our ‘Here for Good’ philosophy and how it will shape the work you do every day.

When students succeed, societies benefit. We can’t wait to see what you’ll go on to do. On completion of the Bachelor of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA) as a registered nurse (RN). In order to receive registration, you must satisfy the English Language Requirements and Criminal Record Check.
