International Tourism Management (Spanish) BA Honours

Why study international tourism management with us
Our innovative international tourism course combines theory with practice – with a focus on the latest global trends and developments in international tourism – and a career-enhancing opportunity to learn the fourth widest spoken language in the world.

You’ll study career-relevant topics that include sustainability, cultural tourism, and tourism in developing countries, gaining an insight into distinct social science perspectives. You'll also get the opportunity to build your professional industry experience ­– in the UK and abroad – with a range of work placements and field trips.

Aside from gaining industry-specific knowledge and skills, you’ll also learn Spanish with the help of a specialist language tutor.

You’ll have access to our international team who provide excellence in teaching and research. You’ll also further enhance your language skills with a year-long study abroad option in a Spanish speaking country that will help you get hands-on experience of management in Spanish

Develop your management skills
You’ll take part in a range of industry-relevant UK field trips throughout your course and also spend a week at an international tourist destination. Spain and Greece are among previous field trip destinations, and the majority of the cost for these excursions is included in your tuition fees.

We’ve got a dedicated support team who will help you plan your career and gain valuable experience and contacts through a range of industry-specific networking activities.

Roles for graduates include Business Development Managers, Project Managers, Marketing Executives and Travel Consultants, with graduates of our course climbing the career ladder with companies including Etihad, Eurostar, Marriott, Radisson Blu Edwardian, Thomas Cook, Travel Republic and Virgin Holidays.
