Trade is central to business operations, which means our one year top-up BA in International Business and Trade offers you a wide variety of opportunities in every industry, from tech to manufacturing and everywhere in between. Designed to build on your previous experience – International Business HND, foundation course, or other international trade courses – you’ll develop your understanding of key business and trade practices in an international environment.

Through an innovative mix of theory, workshops, simulations, role-plays, and real-life case studies, you’ll develop the professional skills to succeed in a fast-paced corporate environment. You'll build a portfolio of skills so you can tackle a business career that crosses cultural and geographical boundaries. You’ll learn how to analyse the risks and opportunities of the global business environment and develop the knowledge and skills you need to build a successful global career. On completion of the course, you'll also understand international finance, international marketing, and other trading skills essential to a fulfilling career.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

We accept the equivalent of the below qualifications from a recognised overseas qualification:

  • This course has been especially designed for students that have an International Business & Trade HND (merit grade) or another international business qualification of equivalent duration, level and content
  • At least half of your prior study should be in Business and Management areas and specifically you must have a minimum of 15 credits in each of Accounting, Marketing, Human Resource Management and Management somewhere in your programme.

New UCAS Tariff
The UCAS Tariff has changed for courses starting in September 2017. The points awarded to each qualification have been lowered in comparison to the previous UCAS Tariff. Our entry requirements are displayed as the grades you will require, however if you wish to find out the equivalent tariff points please use the UCAS calculator.
