What you will study
In the English literature part of this course, you’ll study some of the most vital and influential works of literature from the medieval period to the present day. You’ll analyze classic works, including Shakespeare, George Eliot, and Margaret Atwood, as well as innovative texts and genres, such as travel writing, nineteenth-century theatre, and beat writing.

You will learn what it means to carefully interpret written works, and evaluate the importance of literature in history and society.

Your politics modules will introduce you to a range of concepts, approaches, and methods for political analysis. You’ll also develop an understanding of the problematic nature of the political, social and economic inquiry, and develop your critical thinking skills.
