All of our undergraduate programmes provide Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS). As a graduate from our BSc Psychology degree, you will be well-placed to consider further professional training in psychology.

Professional fields within psychology to consider range from clinical, health, occupational and educational, to forensic, sport and exercise, counselling, neuropsychology, and academia, research, and teaching. Previous graduates have used their degree as a basis for roles in research, management, marketing, health settings, or education. Other graduates may wish to progress to study at postgraduate level.

United Kingdom

GCE Advanced Levels: ABB, to include a science-related subject. Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Geography, Economics are accepted.
General Studies and Critical Thinking are not accepted.

International Baccalaureate: 32 points overall, with 5 at Higher Level in a science-related subject.
(Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Applied Science, Maths, Geography, or Economics).

BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science, Health and Social Care or Forensic & Criminal Investigation accepted: Distinction, Distinction, Merit

Access to Higher Education Diploma: 45 Level 3 credits with a minimum of 128 UCAS Tariff points, including 15 credits in a science-related subject.
(Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Applied Science, Maths, Geography, or Economics).

Applicants will also need at least three GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, which must include English and Maths or Statistics. Equivalent Level 2 qualifications may also be considered

Bangladesh

Prospective students require one of the following qualifications for entry onto year one of a Bachelor’s degree:

• Successful completion of the International Baccalaureate (IB) with between 27 and 34 points.
• Successful completion of three A Levels
• Successful completion of a recognized International Foundation Year program

Advanced Entry (Undergraduate)

Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course.

English Language Requirements

• IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score). Please note that some courses require a higher IELTS score.

India

Students require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of an undergraduate degree:

• A minimum of 70% in the Standard XII awarded by CISCE or CBSE (for courses requiring IELTS 6.0)
• A-Level qualifications.

Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course.

English Language Requirements

Prospective students require one of the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 70% in the Standard XII awarded by CISCE or CBSE (for courses requiring IELTS 6.0). These qualifications should usually have been completed no more than 5 years before enrolling at the University of Lincoln. However, this requirement will usually be waived for applicants who achieved the required High School English grade and subsequently completed a degree in their home country that was taught fully in English. An official letter from the previous institution, confirming that the degree was taught in English, may be required. 
• IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score). Please note that some courses require a higher IELTS score.

Nepal

Advanced Entry (Undergraduate)

Pakistan

Prospective students require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of an undergraduate degree:

• Between 27 and 34 International Baccalaureate (IB) points depending on the course you wish to apply for.
• Successful completion of an Associate Degree with a minimum grade of 60%

Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course.

English Language Requirements

• English language requirements vary by program although typically range from IELTS 6.0 – 7.0 (or equivalent).

Students who do not meet the above English language requirements may be eligible for entry onto a Pre Sessional English and Academic Study Skills (PEASS) course.

Sri Lanka

Students require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of an undergraduate degree:
