BSc (Hons) Professional Practice
The BSc (Hons) Professional Practice program is a professionally orientated program of study, which has been developed as a ‘top-up’ option for non-graduate registered healthcare professionals. This program has been developed following discussions with partners which identified a need for modules that are responsive to both national and local policy and that aim to meet the educational needs of the local health professional population.
The program aims to provide a degree-level qualification from a structured and appropriate post-registration education portfolio consisting of practice-focused and research modules. These are aligned with the NHS career framework, which supports the philosophy of Lifelong Learning and clearly links to the NHS Agenda for Change initiative. The focus of this program will be on supporting learning in practice, whilst also developing knowledge and understanding of strategic service transformation and evidence-based practice. The course provides the opportunity for learners to participate and engage in the academic experience, aiming to ensure that learners are able to apply learned theory to practice.
The program is designed to meet the needs of experienced practitioners from a range of healthcare backgrounds, who wish to broaden their knowledge and understanding of theoretical and policy issues, including research methods, and develop their skills to contribute to the changing health and social care system. This program is suitable for the following professionals who are currently registered and practicing; Nurses, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Radiographers, as well as other allied health professionals.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
The entry criteria is for all students to have 120 credits at Level One and Two relating to a health professional qualification. It is a modular programme of study which incorporates the University’s credit accumulation and transfer scheme.
Bangladesh
Prospective students require one of the following qualifications for entry onto year one of a Bachelor’s degree:
- Successful completion of the International Baccalaureate (IB) with between 27 and 34 points.
- Successful completion of three A Levels
- Successful completion of a recognized International Foundation Year program
Advanced Entry (Undergraduate)
Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course.

Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course.
English Language Requirements
Prospective students require one of the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 70% in the Standard XII awarded by CISCE or CBSE (for courses requiring IELTS 6.0). These qualifications should usually have been completed no more than 5 years before enrolling at the University of Lincoln. However, this requirement will usually be waived for applicants who achieved the required High School English grade and subsequently completed a degree in their home country that was taught fully in English. An official letter from the previous institution, confirming that the degree was taught in English, may be required.
