Applied Accounting MSc

The programme will be both quantitative and qualitative and reflect the increasing internationalisation of business.  There will be an emphasis on the application of accounting and finance techniques, underpinned by the relevant UK law and regulations and international standards.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry criteria

Applicants will normally hold an undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance related subjects with a minimum pass of a Second Class Honours, an equivalent overseas qualification, or an equivalent professional qualification.

Students who do not align with the generic admission requirements may be eligible for admission via the Recognition of Prior Learning.

India

  • A Bachelor's degree with 50%-60%, depending on the university you have studied and the course you are applying for.

Some courses have additional entry criteria such as a portfolio, work experience or require you to have a degree in a related field.

Sri Lanka

  • A Bachelor’s degree with GPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a  2:2 classification, and GPA 3.3 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a 2:1 classification.

Bangladesh

  • 4 year Bachelor degree from BUET with a minimum of 55% or GPA 2.75/4.0 OR 4 year Bachelor degree from a well recognized university with a minimum of 60% or GPA 3.0/4.0
