Accounting and Business Management BA (Hons)

The aim of this joint honors degree is to provide you with the skill set you need to give you a head-start in your career.

The Business Management modules provide you with a broad understanding of business concepts, ideas, models, and methods, with an increasing focus on strategic management as you progress through the course.

The Accounting modules enable you to appraise the role of accounting in society, to appreciate and critically analyze financial decisions taken by organizations, and to evaluate the regulatory framework of accounting.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry criteria

  • A typical offer is 104 UCAS points. You need to study at least two subjects at A Level or equivalent (eg BTEC)
  • Five GCSEs at grades A–C including English Language and Maths
  • Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit (or equivalent)
  • English (Language or Literature) and Maths GCSE required as separate qualifications at grade C
  • We will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course
  • International Baccalaureate: 24+ Points

India

  • Minimum of 65% average in your four best subjects (excluding Hindi) in Standard 12. We may also check your standard 10 results in English and Maths.

2nd year - 3rd-year Undergraduate:

  • Entry to year 2 or 3 may be possible. You will need to supply detailed information including courses taken, grades achieved, syllabus, and a grading guide.

Sri Lanka

  • 55-65% in three A-levels, depending on the course you choose.
