Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation BA (Hons)

Whether you want to launch your own business or change an existing organization, this program immerses you in the world of creative business thinking, helping you to prepare for employment after university. You will develop your entrepreneurial and creative skills and apply them to real-world situations.

Taught by lecturers with industry experience, this course will hone your key competences as you study core topics that cut across business and entrepreneurial practice. In your second and third years you can choose from a range of optional modules, enabling you to tailor your learning to your interests.

You will gain practical experience with a real business through the Live Consultancy module and have the chance to take part in Fox’s Lair – our annual contest for entrepreneurs. It focuses on teamwork, project management, research, communication and problem solving – all skills in demand by employers.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry criteria

  • A typical offer is 104 UCAS points. You need to study at least two subjects at A Level or equivalent (eg BTEC)
  • Five GCSEs at grades A–C including English Language and Maths
  • Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit (or equivalent)
  • English (Language or Literature) and Maths GCSE required as separate qualifications at grade C
  • We will normally require students to have had a break from full-time education before undertaking the Access course
  • International Baccalaureate: 24+ Points

India

  • Minimum of 65% average in your four best subjects (excluding Hindi) in Standard 12. We may also check your standard 10 results in English and Maths.
  • For Engineering courses, you will need a minimum of 60% in Maths. 

2nd year - 3rd-year Undergraduate:

Sri Lanka

  • 55-65% in three A-levels, depending on the course you choose.
