PHILOSOPHY B.A (Hons)

Philosophy at Keele is a broadly based course. As well as being able involved in contemporary discussions about long-standing philosophical problems, you will also study and analyse the great thinkers of past philosophy from across the globe. You will be encourage to examine your assumptions and to strengthen your arguments, as well as investigating the reasoning of those you're arguing against. A philosophy degree teaches you to think clearly, quickly and accurately, opening up the way to a wide range of careers and giving you the resources to work through problems in the modern world.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

India

CISCE / CBSE / West Bengal Class XII: 60% - 90% required depending on course. Plus any subject-specific requirements. 

All other State Boards Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard Class XII: 65% - 95% required depending on course. Plus any subject-specific requirements. 

2 years of study must have been completed.

English Requirements

CISCE/CBSE Class XII: 70% or above in English, depending on course.

All other State Boards Class XII (except Punjab or Mohali School Education Board): 75% or above in English, depending on course.

Must have been completed within the last 5 years.

The study should be taught in English. Otherwise, IELTS is required.
