Physics with Astrophysics BSc Honours (F3F5)

Our three-year Physics with Astrophysics BSc Honours degree equips you with a sound knowledge of fundamental and applied physics.

The first and second years are designed to ensure that you develop a sound foundation in all aspects of physics. You will explore a broad and exciting range of topics, such as:

• quantum mechanics
• astrophysics
• solid state physics

In your final year, you are given the opportunity to specialise in astrophysics along with modules such as relativity and cosmology, stellar structure and evolution and interstellar medium. 

You will get hands-on experience with specialist equipment and work in our high-spec facilities. This helps you develop practical skills for a wide range of physical science careers.
