Environmental Sciences (Ecosystem Management) with Placement MEnvSci Honours (FC81)

This degree provides you with a firm foundation in the environmental sciences before you specialise in ecosystem management. You'll boost your employability with a year-long work placement and a year of advanced study at Master's level.

Between Stages 2 and 3 you take a year-long work placement in a relevant environmental sector, gaining valuable work experience.

In Stage 4 you specialise in:

  • experimentation
  • wildlife surveying and monitoring techniques
  • habitat and species management methods
  • writing management and action plans

Specialist topics include:

  • environment and habitat assessment
  • biodiversity conservation: policy and practice
  • ecological survey techniques
