Master of Social Work (Professional)

This program is designed for those who want to become a qualified social worker. If you already hold a bachelor's degree with study in a relevant discipline such as social science, sociology, psychology, health science or human services then this program can offer you a two-year pathway into the profession.

You will gain essential knowledge and understanding of the values, theories, and interventions that underpin social work practice. The program will teach the skills to be a critical and reflective practitioner who is able to contribute to any field of social work practice.

PSW Opportunity

  • During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
  • After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
  • After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.
